We reached the Bay of Islands quite early evening, around 4pm, made pretty good time really and found a site recommended by my sis, Zinz, called the Beachside Campsite, had all mod cons including Wi-Fi, which was a surprise but best of all it was right on the bayside (hence the name I suppose!).
