Report this comment off topic but could one of you bods at the spectator do some research on what the point of northern ireland is? especially - what does it pay into the exchequer and what the government spends back on NIreland etc.

I doubt many voters will be in favour of such a beast - Scotland isn't NIreland, to the extent that voters ignore all issues but the constitutional one.
