One of the guys in our group was a German guy called Christopher and on the way there I was telling him about the way I grew up practically bombarded with German TV-inspector Derrick, The Old Fox, Football made in Germany, Clown Ferdinand(in retrospect very creepy) Pappenheimer, Didi's comedy show(the Rwanda brigade- tell me you don't remember that growing up!) and all those cheesy TV shows we were fed as kids on UTV.
