You gotta love the Internet! mr. o Fri, Apr 17, 2009 at 07: 50 AM EST the problem is that the only reason she's being made into a celebrity is that she looks a like she may be undiagnosed with something. this doesn't do anything to show how shallow the industry is when it comes to looks -- it reaffirms their shallowness. it shows that they've the same instincts as barnum and bailey's side show. she looks funny, strange, fugly, hence she's marketable. most contestants in american idol etc are actually very plain looking, and forgettable. they're the ones the industry most commonly neglects, but nobody gives big cheers for every normal-waisted, yogurty, lumpy chested contestant that belts out a song on that show. this story is a instance of the bearded lady in the age of the internet. it's no different from speculation on lindsay lohan's breasts.— Entertainment Weekly's PopWatch
