More important, I accidentally left my nice large baking stone in my old house (which we still own, but given how hard it would be to mail I have yet to figure out how to retrieve it and it is 9 hours away), so there was no way I could fit the batards on my stone.

For Oval Rolls – Petits Pains, Tire-Bouchons: Form like batards, but you will probably not have to lengthen them at all after the two foldings and sealings.
