I will spoil them with lots of nice food though. dear greatteacher, praps u should go over wiv js exactly wat he intends to do if he leaves, wat exactly would pay him enough or interest him enough, he must not give in to a whim or homesickness. my js in cambrai says lots r talking bout leaving cos they enjoyed leave so much n finding it hard to have their freedom curtailed again. they prob enjoyed leave tho cos they all had loads of money!

I'm a Cambrai mum, had a call last from my son to say all ok could tell in his voice that he was excited at what is to come! hi everyone we also dropped our son off at afc on sun 6th 2009 he's in cambrai company/pl 10 cried buckets stayed awake all night waiting for a text back after i sent about 10 got one back after midnight tellin us to stop textin he was busy lol whilst we lay awake cryin what are us mums like lol hi 7 yr old brother even slept in his bed jue&kenny my son is in 11 platoon, having read through all the previous messages and having seen the kit list posted by another mum it's different to the one we had! welcome to all the new mums (and dads) If your up late at night a bit of bed time reading is the parents pages on this site. loads of info. keep watching and writing on here as well, it helps just to know that your not alone.

u know trainee lawyers n bankers have to work 12 hours shifts for demanding bosses, where theres money theres demanding bosses! my js is in cambrai, and has been having a bad time with homesickness, but he did say a lot of lads are thinking of leaving, seems worse on a night time, told him to keep busy, but not sure what else i can do, any ideas. i thought the same 6 wweks hard work then weeks leave going back and geting back into the routine will be hard. would it be worth ringing afc but not sure what they can do about it. hi Toonuk
