1. n. A twig of Gouania Domingensis, used in the West Indies for cleaning the teeth, and also powdered as a dentifrice. More commonly chawstick.
2. n. In Sierra Leone, the root of the cola, Bichea acuminata, which is chewed for the purpose of cleaning the teeth and sweetening the breath.
