1. n. A grinding or polishing wheel covered with cloth charged with an abrading or polishing material, as pumice-stone, rotten-stone, chalk, putty-powder, etc.
2. n. In a sewing-machine, a feed-movement in the form of toothed or serrated wheel which projects upward through the cloth-plate and has an intermittent motion.
