1. n. A genus of turdoid or dentirostral oscine passerine birds, of uncertain limits and systematic position. It is now commonly referred to the family Turdidæ, and restricted to the dayals or magpierobins of India and the East Indies, such as the Indian C. saularis, the Ceylonese C. ceylonensis, etc.
