(i.e., when currentPage = 2). remember that the loading of the controls will only happen for controls that are actually rendered in the aspx or dynamically added by code (which has to be done each time). so when currentpage = 2 it loads up the button back, but the checkboxlist isn't loaded so the checked information has nothing to bind to, so is dropped. perhaps you should try something like this: mahidhar_81
