a.k.a. Greenland (dog). Descended from the Arctic wolf (according to Simon & Schuster's Guide to Dogs, 1980). "Like all Nordic dogs, it has a fundamentally good, loyal, lively and affectionate temperament. Since the dogs usually work in teams, they seldom have the opportunity to develop an affectionate relationship with one master. Due to its exceptional hardiness and resistance to cold, the Greenland is ideally adapted to pulling a sled. It is not suited to living in an apartment."
