  • n. Eccles., one who believes the Father and the Son to be unlike in substance or essence; an Arian: opposed to Homoöusian. Also Heterousiast, Heteroöusiast.
  • Of or pertaining to the Heterousians or the doctrine of an essential difference between the Father and the Son: as, the Heterousian heresy. See Homoöusian.
