1. Of or pertaining to Hippodameia, daughter of Œnomaus, and the ancestress of the Atreidæ. She became the wife of Pelops as the reward of his victory over her father in a chariot-race, which he won by bribing the charioteer of Œnomaus. There are various versions of the legend.
