I first open ITUNES then plugged my ipod (A guy from the apple store here in ROme told me to first open itunes then plug ipod so itunes could recognize) but +itunes do not recognize my ipod. +but i heard the sound that the computer always makes when you plug something in the USB cable, and it made 2 sounds, when you plug in and when you UNPLUG. but IPOD is still charging! computer first make the sound that something got plugged, then right after he made the sound that something got Unplugged. ohgosh i am so confused! what is going on?!?!

The randomness control in itunes is frustrating because it can lead to too many similar songs or outright repeats, and with other music interspersed, which disrupts the, for lack of a better term, ‘groove’.

I also have my library on another hard drive I tried putting aliases in my music folder but it still wouldn't run. too bad I was really excited about using it since itunes is a memory hog.

Also, itunes is a lot better on the mac - its faster and integrates better to the desktop. on windows it feels out of place and is (as others mentioned) slow as hell so i perfectly understand people not wanting to use it - i wouldnt. jquack
