1. n. A jointer; specifically, a. power-tool which has largely superseded the hand-tool or jointer-plane; a stave-jointer. It is a circular plane, with a series of bits which pass in turn over the stave held against it. By changing the bits the machine can be used to mold, chamfer, etc.
2. n. A small supplementary share in a plow.
