So in a day or two I'll check MacAlly's website to see if they've released an updated iShock driver that plays nicely with OS X 10.3.8, then I can go back to using the MacAlly USB Playstation2 controller with Steim's application junxion for my USB MIDI performance art piece I have in progress.

My PS2USB adapter for a performance piece I'm designing arrived yesterday, and while most apps don't seem to respond to it, the one I want it to, Steim's junxion, works wonderfully.

I had hoped that with the Nykos having 8 channel settings "to avoid interference" and both the controller and the receivers having 1-8 settings, that I could simply set controller A, receiver A and receiver B to channel 1, and receiver A could control the Playstation2 while receiver B, plugged in to the SmartJoy Plus USB adapter, could control junxion and make MIDI.

Then I went upstairs, started the Steim junxion USBMIDI application, plugged in the SmartJoyPlus playstation2USB adapter, then the Logitech wireless receiving station.
