The breakfast consisted of Chapati and potato sagu, mixtures, mysore pak and kesar burfi.
Shrikhand with all the variations like kesari, kesar pista, mango, strawberry etc. came into being as people became more and more adventurous with their food but a traditional shrikhand is still the best tasting one.

After making saffron kulfi, I decided to make kesar-pista icecream using ricotta cheese.
You could add kesar color, top it with fruit slices, add mango pulp, etc.

Tip: You can dissolve saffron kesar in 1 tsp warm water and add it to the mixture while heating to make yellow-colored Kesar Koprapaak.
