  • A subfamily of bats of the family Phyllostomatidæ, having simple nostrils without nose-leaf, but the chin with leaf-like appendages, and having 2 incisors in each upper and lower half-jaw, and 2 premolars above and 3 below on each side. There are two genera, Chilomycteris and Mormops.
