A tribe of dicotyledonous polypetalous plants of the natural order Ochnaceæ, characterized by an eccentric ovary, which is from 2- to 5-celled, or 1-celled with incomplete placentæ, and an indefinite number of ovules. The capsule is many-seeded, and the seeds are albuminous. The tribe includes 6 genera, all South American, of which Luxemburgia is the type.
