• noun A colorless basic compound, C₆H₁₃O₂N₃, obtained, together with lysatinine, by the action of stannous chlorid and hydrochloric acid on albuminous compounds. It is said to yield urea when decomposed, and it may be a mixture of arginin and lysin.
