• noun A pitch-black massive mineral substance forming a thin zone about a kernel of cuprite in nodules the exterior zones of which are made up of malachite and chrysocolla. In composition it is a silicocarbonate of copper with copper hydroxid. It is found near Bisbee, Arizona.
