I saw a lot of tweets over the weekend asking "what the heck is this momspotting thing?"
Gina Carroll -- and I (your faithful project editor) are watching the momspotting tweets
Or, you can tweet with the #momspotting hashtag yourself and let us know what you think is important about digital parenting.
If you dig this meme, feel free to do one yourself and leave a link in the comments or tweet it with the #momspotting hashtag.
Basically that means I tweet a few times a day with the #momspotting hashtag about how I use technology in my day-to-day parenting life … along with posting articles in the BlogHer Digital Parenting group … mulling over issues related to technology, the interwebz and parenting in this digital age …
And a sidenote: At a time when women are blogging about every topic imaginable, it has been a great source of frustration to me to see the degree to which women who blog about parenthood have been stereotyped and dismissed -- the term mommyblogger has been used to diminish both the creative skills and influence of this group. #momspotting should help put an end to that; these bloggers make me think as often as they make me laugh.
It's great to have it laid out and be able to pass this on when asked about #momspotting:)
