1. n. The trade-name of a mixture of about 30 per cent. sulphur with about 70 per cent. of paraffin-wax with a little beeswax and tallow: used as an addition to some of the lower grades of vulcanized india-rubber, in order to prevent cracking on exposure to the sun.
