  • noun A pale-yellow poisonous thick oil, C10H14N2, prepared by the action of zinc or concentrated hydrochloric acid on metadipyridyl. It boils at 287–289° C., has a strongly narcotic odor, and is found in bone-oil. Also called 3- or meta-hexahydrodipyridyl.
