I begged one of my non-Mango colleagues to take my place as a surrogate Mango researcher; I even offered to let him keep the multi-channel pipet at his bench.
I normally use glass pipets when adding chloroform for a particular protocol, but I didn't pay attention and used a plastic pipet instead .. once ... it dissolved before my eyes like it was being melted, then, after a moment it clicked --- stupid it's an organic solvent and this is plastic!!!!
