I did a row quilt this year, intended to be a wallhanging, and have done one narrow strip each month according to that month's theme - curves, paper-piecing, quarter-square triangles, stars, nine patches or square.
I was saying the other day that I thought my Ostrich wanted a bit more black space between the centre strip and the quarter-square triangle units, so tonight while watching The Aviator (excellent) I took it apart and put a strip in, and put it back together.
