Today's outfit: starlight mint shirt simplicity 2343 skirt black old navy tights black franco sarto boots, bought at DSW an age ago no links today, but i thought i'd do a quick update. now that summer is looking like it's over, how did i do with my summer yarn goals? pretty good, actually. i made a cardigan with the black yarn, a skirt with the brown yarn, and a secret something with the blue yarn, for which i shamefully have yet to write up the pattern and now it's no longer seasonally appropriate so it might have to wait until next spring. the purple yarn is my lone failure. i started to knit a shell from knit1 but got bored and now it's destined for the frog pile. but altogether not bad at all for the summer of 2010. especially since i spent a great portion of it not knitting much at all.
