- n. A dish made by mixing wine, ale, or cider with cream or milk, so as to form a soft curd: this is sweetened, and flavored withlemon-juice, rose-water, etc. Whipped sillibub is made by thoroughly whisking or beating, and skimming or pouring off the froth into glasses; solid sillibub is made by adding gelatin and water, and boiling.
