  • noun A commercial name for a form of ejector, or siphon-condenser, in which the descending current of injection-water is compelled to move in a helical path by deflecting flanges. It is asserted that a more effective aspiration of air is secured at the point where the vacuum is to be maintained than where no care is taken to secure a spiral motion.
