• Triaxial, as a spongespicule; having three axes diverging from a common center, resulting from linear growth from a center in three directions at an inclination of 120° to one another. See cut under sponge-spicule.
• noun A regular figure of three axes diverging from a common center, as a sponge-spicule with three such axes.
