I’d personally say there were overtures of classic 80′s movies of the genre to be found in the fantastic in both senses of the word puppetry used for the special effects, GREMLINS, CRITTERS and TREMORS all sprang to mind as images of flesh-hungry sheep flashed across the screen, and the icing on the cake was the glorious ‘weresheep’ which oozed retro charm as it lumbered menacingly between victims.
