With the oddity in the Realms and the knowledge that nobody's really sure WHAT a yuan-ti looks like (and think of this, too: not like your average citizen or guard knows everything that's in the Monster Manual about a critter ... half of it could be pure hooey) except they can look like humans if they want to.

I did manage to confirm (or at least I think I confirmed) that there's only two races (gray orcs and pureblood yuan-ti, though only the latter was featured in the demo) since Matthew said something along the lines of "we're going for less new features and more content."

oh, certain technical things are really nice & geek affirming. level adjustments help clarify CRs, etc. lots more things have ECLs, & they are starting to take the time to explain a little bit as to why the yuan-ti anathema did someone say jungle cult?
