chamb244 commented on the word bombolino
"Bombolino" is the term used in most of Ethiopia for what North Americans would identify as a donut. It is sometimes thought to have originated from Italian (as do many cooking and mechanical terms in modern colloquial Amharic), but in my few visits to Italy, no one I spoke with recognized this word.

so, does parhidrosis encompass both hyper- and hypohidrosis? are there other varieties of sweat secretion abnormality?
chamb244 commented on the word khat
The thing is, this word is pronounced quite differently by Ethiopians, Somalis and Yemenis (distinguishing the transliterations "khat" & "qat" doesn't seem to capture this in practice). It would be helpful to note which country/language a recorded pronunciation is meant to refer to.
