Octoberist prior to the Captain EO announcement, I've always thought that they can do a 3D Tron show at the same theater at Disneyland. otherwise, i really don't know where they can place a Tron ride unless it's in California Adventure. presto117 i've never seen the original, but tron legacy looks great and i think a theme park ride/refitting of the tomorrowland arcade is perfect.
Let's also not forget about the Francis Ford Coppola-directed, "Captain EO," with its 3D amalgam of pop music and sci-fi genre tropes.
This EO is nothing more than a line-item veto by another name, and SCOTUS already shot that down, IIRC.
Captain EO was spectacular, for sure, but cost an astounding $30 million to produce 17 minutes of worthy material.
I was blown away by Captain EO and the its special effects.
As a tribute to the magic, music and messages of “Captain EO,” the 3-D musical adventure is returning to the Tomorrowland theater in which it debuted.
It would be awesome if Disney acquired rights to the 3D conversion of Thriller and screened it alongside Captain EO at Disneyland.
