What's Bovril? Is it like peanut butter?
Bovril is the trademarked name of a thick, salty meat extract similar to vegemite or marmite. Like the latter two, it can be spread on toast, or diluted to make a "beef tea" - much loved by British footballer fans and even served at the Groucho Club in London.
