Sounds about right. I had a book on traditional Indian costumery last week. Lovely illustrations. From memory I despatched it bookcrossing-style on a picnic table by the sea.

especially when you consider the depths of simplicity in her 'simple adornment'. I have it on good authority Indian women didn't wear shirts in the 5th century.
