  • noun In crinoids, same as centro-dorsal.
  • noun A bone situated in the middle of the typical carpus and tarsus of the higher Vertebrata, between the proximal and distal rows of carpal and tarsal bones. It is often wanting. See cuts under carpus and tarsus.
