  • Yep. It's a cool word. You can express varying degrees of disgust by adjusting the number of e's and w's. For example:

    "Casu marzu? Eeeeewwwwwwww!"

  • OED says 'ew' goes back to 1978. A quick Google search says it's in 1949 Dr. Seuss's - Bartholomew and the Oobleck.. but I don't have a copy of that book. I think it's worth checking this book for the word 'eww'.

    Anyways, the OED needs to watch some movies.
