  • I assumed that's the pronunciation intended, and the OED people just forgot to list it.

  • I like to think it's pronounced like defiant. As is "I WILL SHOW YOU MY FIANTS."

  • OED defines it as "The dung of certain animals, e.g. the badger, fox, etc." It's also obsolete.... thank heaven. No pronunciation is given.
