Frankly, I tend to avoid the whole "knitalong" thing, partly because I have too many deadlines in my life already, partly because I'm not a joiner, but mainly because my legacy of being Not A Cool Kid makes me feel like I'd be unwelcome in some of the trendier knitalongs.
