    I have actually eaten this stuff, although I didn't know its name. I have thought of it as vanilla fudge or butterscotch fudge. I learned yesterday that it is indigenous to my native New England. I thought at first it would be pronounced puh-NOOK, but I was wrong. I must go find some so that I can address it by its proper name.
