  • I remember typing an email in Croatia without looking at the keyboard because I was staring out of the window of an internet cafe trying to describe one of the memorable streets in the centre of Split. When I eventually looked at the screen I saw I had typed a very strange animal indeed. Sent it anyway, exactly as it was :->

  • The standard keyboard used in Central Europe (originating in Germany), too, is a qwertz! Which makes sense since y is only found in foreign words.
