  • I noticed that, at the entry for incisiveness,

    -- https://www.wordnik.com/words/incisiveness --

    the second definition contains a TYPO! -- it says "forcefulnelss".

    IMHO it should end with "ness", instead of "nelss". (right?)

    Is there a correct place to submit such a squawk? (a TYPO report)? How about here? :-) !

  • I read some of the stuff at https://www.wordnik.com/about ... and one of the things that struck me, was the little paragraph that says, quote :

    ((((
    Wordnik doesn't yet allow user-contributed definitions. If you'd like to add a definition, you can log in and leave a comment.
    ))))

    That first sentence "... doesn't yet allow ..." could be a bit of an exaggeration; ... because Wordnik DOES seem to include -- at least, some of the time -- definitions "from Wiktionary, Creative Commons Attribution/Share-Alike License"!

    ...and -- (as some of you might already know) -- Wiktionary DOES already allow user-contributed definitions. (!!)

    Therefore, it would seem that, at least in some cases, it is possible for some "user-contributed definitions", to find their way in to Wordnik. (The "user" of Wordnik, might have to be -- or become -- a "user" of Wiktionary "also"; ... but that is probably possible.)

    Just a picayune nit-pick, or OCD quibble, or whatever ... from Mike Schwartz .. mike000schwartz .. schwartz@acm.org .. and here is a web page with some "social media" links for me ... including some profile pages of mine ... such as e.g. on LinkedIn and on facebook. :-) !
