  • I will be around, just a thought are German words ok?

  • I have removed 50% of the information on the word Squidoo, there is no spamming on Squidoo either.

  • I joined yesterday, so if I have spammed is was not intentional. I thought a link to uses and applications of the word were ok? If I have offended, sorry tell me what to change and it will be done. With more than 18,000 words to your credit I will certainly listen.

  • Of course German's okay--anything goes.

If you want more information (though I'm sure you'll do fine without it), you can check out the faq page or this list. Have fun.

  • Well, you're already putting German words here through your Drachsi profile.

Any language is fine for Wordie.

  • Sorry, Services. I removed my "spam" comment from your posts. Welcome.

  • I don't mind sitemap too much - yes, I can see the examples - but the Squidoo link looks like either touting for business or shameless promotion. I've said it to other new Wordies so I might as well say it to you: if your first contributions here are to post links to other sites, are you really surprised people think you are a spammer?

Never mind, mandible up, take the time to find out what Wordie does and you'll fit in fine in the end. I hope you'll take the time to make our acquaintance as most of us are as furry as can be.

  • Welcome to Wordie! You are not offending anyone. I just noticed that a few of your comments bear a resemblance to some comments made by other people who signed up (apparently) just to advertise their sites or services, and not to just play with words and join the fun. (With your username being what it is, that suspicion is kind of understandable.)

Please, it's not about who hangs out here the most and adds so many words that they obviously have no life outside of the site (reesetee...).

Linking a word to its usages, even if its usages are exclusively commercial, is perfectly kosher, as long as a person isn't just here trying to sell something or to drive traffic to his/her site. Even that, there's really no rule against--though it must be said some frequent users might launch a Word War--because there aren't really any rules here! (See also our Arsenal for Civil Defunse.)

:) Welcome to Wordie. I hope you stick around and have fun with it.

  • Services, you wouldn't be a spammer, would you?
