I thought I invented this word a few years ago, but I noticed there are about 1000 references to the word on Google search. Anyway, I created confuffled as a concatenation of confused and baffled and generally use it in reference to males and the way they appear to feel about their interactions with females.
"After a few moments of intense discussion, the teenaged girl flounced off and the boy watched her go, a confuffled expression on his face."
