retorick "long-winded" - The Endangered English Dictionary - Bodacious Words Your Dictionary Forgot (David Grambs, 1994, W. W. Norton & Company) Feb 13, 2013
jmjarmstrong JM is optimistic that 'aeolistic' will reveal its meaning by other than a traditional dictionary-type explanation (a couple of usage examples probably obscure rather than illuminate) as the word obviously relates to a couple of other words but it's hard to be sure what will be triggered in people's minds when they encounter a particular word even though they may not have seen it before.
