One of the more curious phenomena of language is the contronym also called an “antagonym”, which is when a word has come to represent two opposite meanings.
The word contronym also the synonym antagonym is used to refer to words that, by some freak of language evolution, are their own antonyms.
Their mantra/antagonym 'Change' is of course a word that would bring some of the politico to the point of permanent perspiration whilst all would surely keel over at the thought of losing the trough they all share, somewhat similar to the pot in which all do urinate.
