  • So, mollusque, you would have us believe that someone actually wrote a sentence in the year 2004 that began with the word "verily".

    Forsooth, I have a hard time believing this, Gadzooks! But perhaps Edgar is trying to be a professor smartypantzen, or engaging in a lame effort at wry hilarity. Or - more likely - English is not his mother tongue.
