Yes, please! Whenever I hear Lavoisier's name, I'm reminded of how he did such important work with oxygen and was then gruesomely deprived of his right to breathe it. I'd love to see a list that could help me associate him with other, better things.

Oooh! An old name for a mineral! These are all over Lavoisier (who is great fun to read). Also fun: flowers of zinc, butter of arsenic, martial ethiops, oil of vitriol, Venus crystals, salt of alembroth, phagadenic water, dephlogisticated air, liver ore, magister of bismuth, mineral butter, and lunar caustic.Butter of antimony, if memory serves, is antimony trichloride.
