"The performance was enough for the Tuttosport editor Paolo di Paola to declare the team 'in crisis' on the pitch – as well as everywhere else – but, beyond getting rid of Ranieri, nobody seems to be offering any practical solutions." - Paolo Bandini, 'Ranieri losing numbers game at Juventus' in guardian.co.uk, 6 Oct 2008.
Italian soccer jargon - crisis. A club can be in crisi after just a few poor results, especially if the club is a famous one and expectations are high. If the press declare a team to be in crisi and they lose again, the press will then state that the crisis has become official.
